Explosion-proof fans

Explosion-proof centrifugal fans are fans used mainly for clean air conveying. Used by our company explosion-resistant fans have radial impellers with a covering (inlet) disc. This type of impeller ensures high fan efficiency. The impellers of radial fans are made of ordinary quality steel and acid-resistant steel in various grades depending on the customer's requirements. Dynamically well-balanced impellers allow for long-term trouble-free operation. Fans are painted blue. The impeller is painted orange. Our fans undergo a detailed inspection. Each fan is switched on after assembly to check for vibrations and residual unbalance. The fan is then sent to the customer.

On request, we make this type of fan in a reinforced version. The spiral casing (collector) is made of thicker logs. The impeller is reinforced by thicker blades. When selecting an explosion-proof centrifugal fan, it is necessary to carefully calculate the capacity as required and the pressure losses in the entire pipeline. Cyclones, filters and other equipment connected to the extraction, etc. should be taken into account.

We manufacture explosion-proof radial fans for two explosion hazard zones for gases zone Z2 and for dust zone Z22.

Explosion-proof fans are equipment with a wide range of capacities and pressures, designed to operate in areas where there is a high risk of explosion. The design of explosion-proof application ventilation equipment can vary. Each radial / centrifugal fan for clean air can be manufactured in an explosion-proof version. When manufacturing explosion-proof ventilation units, it is very important to observe the highest quality standards. During their operation, there must be no sparking, which can be a potential cause of explosion or fire. The use of special materials, as well as hermetic motor housings (ensured by the motor manufacturer), helps to ensure that they are as safe as possible. Places where explosion-proof fans must be installed are defined by specific regulations, these can be, for example, laboratories, fuel pumping stations, as well as all kinds of warehouses for flammable substances, etc. It is necessary to determine the explosion risk zone for which a particular fan is selected. The large selection of explosion-proof fans presented in our offer makes it easy to choose such equipment that will cope very well with the most difficult conditions.
