It is an activity which involves cleaning and scraping off old coatings of paint, rust and tarnish on stone, wood, concrete. The effect of sandblasting is similar to grinding, however, the cleaned surface is usually much smoother and there are no problems with cleaning hard-to-reach corners or curves.
It is a surface treatment process very similar to sandblasting, except that glass beads are used instead of alumina grains. Thanks to this method, the surface after glazing is not jagged and sharpened as in sandblasting, but is smooth, which is important for precision parts, as a smooth surface does not attract deposits and dirt as easily as a surface after sandblasting.
A glazing chamber otherwise known as a sandblasting booth is a versatile machine. It has many uses. Thanks to the glazing chamber, we can carry out the following operations, we can clean the surface of objects made of metal. Thanks to this, we can remove welding impurities, scale, rust and surface tarnishes, as well as old paint coatings. With this device, we can rid the objects of sharp, dangerous edges. In addition to cleaning the surface, we can achieve a suitable degree of surface roughness. During use, the cabin is connected to compressed air with a pressure of 3 to 7 bar. During operation, all types of abrasives with a grain size of 0.2 to 0.8 mm can be used. These include shot, mineral abrasive, alumina and glass beads. The cabin is made of a steel construction, which makes it stable and very strong. This ensures safe and efficient working. It is designed for dry operations. The machine is specialised for work performed in accordance with technical and technological requirements.
Thanks to the sleeves, work can be carried out using the entire size of the booth. The cabin is lined with a rubber lining, which makes it easy to keep clean and prevents the abrasive from hitting the cabin walls. This extends the life of the cab by 40% and also has a positive effect on working comfort, as it reduces the noise from the machine. In its design, the cab has lighting to ensure adequate visibility during work. The cabin is connected to a dust collector and, thanks to its design, allows for gravitational pre-separation. In the centre of the cabin is a pressurised working head that imposes the abrasive on the surface. In its design, the booth also has an air gun, which is used to clean and blow off the surface with compressed air.
